+ Are there lessons on long weekends?
There are lessons on Friday and Saturday of a long weekend, but if the Monday is a civic or National holiday then there are no lessons. Please refer to the school calendar for a complete list of holidays.
+ Are there lessons on Remembrance Day?
Yes. We value the significance of Remembrance Day and hope that you do recognize it at the 11th hour on this day. Regular lessons will commence in the afternoon as scheduled. The store will be closed all day.
+ We have to miss a lesson, when can we re-schedule?
Darrens Music Place does not re-schedule missed lessons. We do understand that illness and un-planned events do happen, however keep in mind that your teacher is still at the studio during your scheduled lesson, whether you attend or not.
+ I missed a lesson, do I get a refund?
No, unless you have notified the school administrator of a long-term illness or extended vacation. In which case, the third and subsequent lessons would be re-scheduled or refunded, at the discretion of Darrens Music Place.
+ I paid for four lessons in December and only recieved three, why?
We base our tuition schedule on 36 lessons. Some months will have three lessons and others will have five. During the course of September to the first week of June, you will receive 36 lessons.
