FEBRUARY

Feb. 7th – Baroque Trumpet Recital – Natalie DeJong, with the Amati Quartet, Renee DeMossaic, organ/keyboards, Louella Friesen, soprano

Feb. 7th – fundraiser for Station 20 at Grosvenor Park United Church, 8:00pm 

Performers include: Andrea Menard, Henry Woolf, Yann Martel, Amati Quartet, Sheldon Corbett, Eileen Laverty, BC. Read, Gillian Snider and Teegan Jeffers , Kent Allen, Brenda Baker, Laurence Roy Jrt, George Tennent. 

Tickets $30 available at McNally Robinson, Darren’s Music Place 

 

FEB. 7th-The Elixir Ensemble presents "Viennese Elegance, German Romance", Sunday, February 7, 7:30 pm at Convocation Hall, University of Saskatchewan. This concert features wonderful piano quartets by Mozart, Richard Strauss, a Concerto for violin and oboe by J.S. Bach, and a Tango by Astor Piazzolla "The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires". Tickets are $20, $15 seniors and students available at Place Riel Kiosk and at the door.

Performers for this concert are Oxana Ossiptchouk, violin, James Legge, viola, Carman Rabuka, cello, Kathleen Solose, piano, and guest artist Lief Mosbaugh, oboe.

Elixir is proud to have received a Grant from the Saskatchewan Arts Board for this season.

Elixir is dedicated to presenting high quality performances of great chamber music with a touch of Tango. Come and experience this musical elixir!
